Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Braunfels, Texas in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, is seeking a full-time Director of Faith Formation. The areas of responsibility include developing the catechetical calendar for Sts Peter and Paul, a faith community serving 6200 families; recruiting and training catechists, setting curriculum, and establishing the budget. The Director will have responsibility and oversight of the Catechesis for the RCIA process at both the adult and children levels, and the Catechesis of students, Pre-Kindergarten-5th grade, including the sacramental preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion as well as supervision of lay directed Bible studies. This position collaborates with other staff members in the Youth Ministry Office for cohesive parish-wide catechesis and faith formation. Bilingual preferred.
