Our classes begin mid-September and run through mid-April. Catechists plan and teach classes each week throughout the year. Some teach by themselves but others have a co-catechist. We offer many resources (printed, digital, and human) to reach all the different types of learners: visual, auditory, readers and hands-on. Catechist Job Description
The Catechetical Formation Series is an online catechist training resource by Loyola Press. The series consists of 10 learning sessions that are accompanied by downloadable documents that invite you to apply concepts learned in the session to your ministry experience. These session will help educate and train the person new to the role of catechist as well as a solid refresher course for the veteran catechist. Use the link to access the online series.
