PATRIOTIC ROSARY

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #2085 Reverend Mr. Herbert Schoeller, was established in 1974. Since its formation, it has been a organization for our parish Catholic women to join together in fellowship, spirituality and service to serve our parish community, our state, and our nation, as we grow together in our love of Christ. 

Meetings are held every September through May at 7 PM.

On a local level, our court supports:

The Catholic Daughters organization bases their activities around the Circle of Love which has 8 spokes—Education, Family, Spirituality, Leadership, Legislation, Quality of Life, Spiritual Enhancement, and Youth/JCDA

 

Based upon our court decisions Our 2020-2021 Court Circle of Life Projects are

*Christmas Warmth—Having 4 components

                       Creation and Filling of Stocking for Youth Christmas Mission 
                     Creation and Sale of Advent Wreaths and Sharing of Prayers
                      First Responders Cheer 
                      Warmed by His Hands distribution of parish donated throws

**Our Newest Court Project—Come, Holy Spirit

Creating and gifting every Confirmandi with a Gifts of the Holy Spirit Mask to wear during this confirmation and to save as a reminder of their welcoming the Holy Spirit into their lives.

State of Texas Catholic Daughters of America

Beyond the local court with its projects and charities that it supports, our court is also affiliated with the Texas State Court of the Catholic Daughters of the America. Yearly from our dues, our court members choose to support three of these.

National Catholic Daughters of the Americas 


In addition to supporting local and state projects and charities, our court also supports national charities. On the national level our court chooses to donate to nine of these national projects and charities. You can imagine that the choice is always difficult to make. But is also always equally satisfying.
