Pastoral Council

Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council meets the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
All parishioners are welcome to attend!

MISSION STATEMENT:

Inspired by our patrons Saints Peter and Paul, our mission is to nourish and unite our community through the transformative power of the Holy Eucharist, Education, and Evangelization. We are dedicated to fostering a deep and genuine encounter with Christ by providing a welcoming and spiritual home centered around the Blessed Sacrament. We acknowledge that it is only through God, with God, and in God that we, the ordinary, may achieve extraordinary accomplishments solely for the Glory of God.

The council is comprised of approximately twelve members of the parish who are appointed by the pastor and typically serve three-year staggered terms from January through December at the discretion of the pastor.

The council focuses on:

  1.  Facilitating communication between and among every parish organization and the pastor and the parish administration to enable the pastor and the parish administrator to fully carry out their pastoral duties.

  1. Providing guidance to the pastor and the parish administrator for upcoming spiritual, service or social events involving parish staff, committees or organizations.

  1. Discovering and responding to parish needs at Sts. Peter and Paul.

  1. Addressing issues and matters as requested by the pastor and parish administrator.
