Yearly Retreats
Middle School Summer of Service
Wednesdays starting in June through the end of July.
$25 one time registration fee.
Join us this summer for different service opportunities in and around your church
community. Opportunities will include volunteering at a local food bank, helping
different ministries at the SPP campus among others.
Come for 8am mass if available, breakfast is provided after mass,
then go to service project location (Bus will provide transportation to and from sites)
Will be back at SPP to wrap up at 12pm.
Pack your own re-useable water bottle for the day,
Snacks will be provided.

Will open mid-May for sign up

Leadership Retreat
Each school year begins with a leadership retreat for the juniors and seniors who will be planning and facilitating all of the retreats in the coming year.
The next Leadership Retreat will be September 2025 at
Camp Tejas in Giddings Texas
Middle School Retreat
Our Middle School retreat kicks off the year with a great weekend for our middle schoolers to get to know their peers and more about the Catholic faith.
The middle school retreat is October 2025 in Giddings Texas. The retreat will begin on Saturday morning and will conclude after the 5:30pm Sunday Mass. Cost is $65 total Payment must be received to reserve your spot.
Confirmation Retreat
Every second-year Confirmation student is required to attend one overnight retreat. The overnight Confirmation retreat for the 2026 Confirmation Class will be held in December 2026 in New Braunfels. The retreat will begin on Saturday morning and will conclude after the 5:30pm Sunday Mass.
There is no class the weekend of these retreats for those who attend the retreat. Cost is $65 total (Scholarships available on request, email brendagualandri@sppnb.org for more details or to fund a scholarship). Payment must be received to reserve your spot.
Or students can choose to attend a Teen ACTS retreat -
this retreat will fulfill the Confirmation retreat requirement.
Teen ACTS Retreats
We offer two Teen ACTS retreats per year. One is held during the spring and the other is held in late July, early August. These retreats are for all interested 10-12 graders.
The next Teen ACTS will be held on July 24th-25th 2025 at El Shaddai in Yorktown,Texas. Deposit is $75 to reserve your spot. The retreat begins Thursday afternoon and returns for the 11:30am Mass Sunday. A potluck will follow in St. Mary's hall. This is a four-day, three-night retreat. This retreat fulfills the requirement for Confirmation Candidates.
REGISTRATION will open late May, early June.
General packing list for all retreats:
Sleeping bag (or twin sheets and a blanket), pillow, modest clothes for three days, jeans, pants or long skirt for Sunday Mass
(retreatants given a theme shirt to wear to Mass, no shorts for Mass), pajamas,
towel, toiletries, jacket, tennis shoes, flashlight, REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE.
